SMC's series CA2 is a light weight tie rod air cylinder.  Fine end of stroke cushioning adjustment is now possible due to the increase in the air cushion adjustment range.  The CA2 can be ordered with rod end or rear pivot brackets.  The CA2 is available in a large variety of options that will make them suitable for many different applications.  A variety of auto switches are available for mounting, including compact switches and magnetic field resistant switches.  The CA2 is available in 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100 bores sizes, and is RoHS compliant.

Series NCA1 medium duty tie rod cylinders are NFPA interchangeable, have a crimped piston rod assembly, are pre-lubricated and available in 11 mounting styles. Bore sizes range from 1.5 to 4 inches. The NCA1 expanded line of medium duty cylinders offer bore sizes ranging from 5 to 8 inches, and come standard with adjustable air cushion.

Series CS2 air cylinder is a double acting, non-lube air cylinder. Aluminum die-cast is used for both the rod and head covers, which means a maximum weight reduction of approximately 50% (basic 125mm bore, 100mm stroke).  This series is available in bore sizes 125mm, 140mm and 160mm with maximum strokes up to 1600mm (depending on the mounting configuration).  Air cushions are standard on both ends.  Other options include auto switches, rod boots, and Rc, NPT or G thread types.

Series CS1 air cylinder is SMC's largest bore cylinder. This series is available in bore sizes up to 300mm and stroke lengths up to 2400mm. Additionally, the CS1 can be ordered auto switch capable. Other options include, large bore sizes up to 300mm, various mounting configurations, cushion for noise damping.

The MB series is a light weight, medium duty tie rod cylinder. Available bore sizes range from 32mm to 125mm. The standard air cushion utilizes a floating cushion seal to eliminate piston rod bouncing. The MB series is available with many standard options, which include stroke adjustment, tandem, high/low temperature seals, heavy rod scraper, non-rotating rod, double rod and many more.

Series JMB tie rod actuators are double acting, single rod, compact and lightweight.  The JMB is available in intermediary bore sizes so that larger bores have the same external dimensions as standard bore sizes.
